ISOLÉ — Live beyond roots
For everyone who has ever felt far,
a house of roots and quiet courage.
Olympia Karagiorga · August 31, 1978
ISOLÉ community — A home for anyone who has felt far
the door that always opened
the smell of those Easter cookies
the slow bell of the small church
salt drying on sun-warmed skin
a grandmother humming in another room
the lamp left on, waiting for you
footsteps on stone, returning home
For thousands of years, isolated people survived by reaching outward — traveling, building communities, trading with strangers, and turning distance into connection.
ISOLÉ exists to carry that instinct forward — to remind anyone who feels abandoned that they belong to something larger. We are a growing community for people who want to share stories, learn from one another, create meaningful experiences, and build connections that reach beyond distance. Through gatherings, workshops, volunteering, conversations and future events, we are creating a home for those who believe belonging can be built.
